Across all age groups, children showed strong engagement with Pokoro’s conversational features, especially its Q&A-style learning effect.
Parents valued how Pokoro encouraged curiosity and independent questioning, but still desired clearer onboarding and more structured educational feedback.
When asked about future improvements, most respondents highlighted a need for expanded learning contexts such as Q&A for reading and textbook study and more open-ended conversation modes that feel like talking with a real companion.
Interestingly, “foreign-language conversation” and “playful storytelling” ranked high among older elementary users, suggesting that Pokoro could evolve beyond a learning toy into an adaptive educational friend supporting diverse learning goals.
App Overview
The app visualizes usage patterns, highlights frequently discussed topics, and evaluates pronunciation accuracy to guide continuous learning.
More than a companion app, it bridges physical and digital learning, offering effortless connectivity, actionable insights, and personalized feedback that help users build a deeper relationship with POKORO.
App UX
The app focuses on three main features: Chat Log, Report, and Pronunciation Evaluation. The Chat Log lets users revisit every conversation they have had with Pokoro.
The Report section visualizes daily and weekly conversation patterns, topics of interest, and engagement frequency, helping users reflect on their learning behavior.
The Pronunciation feature, developed in collaboration with educational publishers, analyzes speech accuracy and offers feedback for improvement, transforming Pokoro into a personalized speaking coach.
Ultimately, the Pokoro App was designed to feel like a friendly and intelligent learning companion that connects playful conversation with meaningful learning and continues to grow alongside its users.
